Hello and a warm welcome to the heart of our vibrant Hermitage Schools community! We are the Hermitage Schools Association (HSA), a dedicated charity powered by a passionate collective of parents, staff, and friends. Since 1969, we've been united by a clear mission: to enrich every child's journey at both The Hermitage Infant and Junior Schools in Woking, Surrey, fostering an environment where every student can truly flourish.
We believe in adding that "extra sparkle" to school life, going beyond core budgets to provide enriching experiences and essential resources. From transforming outdoor play areas like the new EYFS surfaces and repairing the Junior School trim-trail, to making festive lunches magical and celebrating Year 6 leavers with memorable gifts – the HSA makes a tangible difference every day. We also champion vital projects, recently contributing to playground maintenance and establishing a Second-Hand Uniform Shed, with current ambitions to modernise bike sheds and launch an appeal for a crucial school minibus.
But the HSA is far more than just a fundraising body. At our core, we are about building a strong, connected school community. We bridge the gap between home and school, creating valuable opportunities for families to connect, share experiences, forge friendships, and most importantly, have fun together. We believe a vibrant, supportive community is fundamental to our children's success and happiness, fostering a true sense of belonging for everyone.
